Our doors opened on September 9, 1958 as Our Lady of the Assumption. Enrollment was 247 students in grades 1-7 with grade 8 added the next year. In May 1959, Bishop Carroll decided to separate our school from Our Lady of the Assumption on A1A and we became known as St. Coleman!
