Admissions
Thank you for your interest in St. Coleman Catholic School. The Charger community is very proud of SCS! We anticipate that the most important reason for parents electing to send their child to St. Coleman is the opportunity to learn more about their faith and to have the moral and ethical values taught at home reinforced daily at school.
SCS admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Given the mission of the school as an agent of Catholic Christian formation, the school will accept only those children whose parents demonstrate an understanding of the specifically Christian nature of the school, as well as a desire to participate in that mission.
Therefore, priority of admission is given to active parishioners who support the parish and to siblings of children already enrolled. Some children may not be accepted because the school's educational program and facilities are not able to meet the needs of the child. When space is available, out-of parish Catholic children or non-Catholics may be accepted. Because class size is limited, availability of space and date of application are also considerations. Testing and a review of previous school records are prerequisites to admission.
